We hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Our holiday was spent attending Mass, eating yummy food, staying cozy and spending time with family.  In other words, our Christmas was perfect!  Santa had a bit of a hard time visiting our house, however, because there were two very excited little boys waiting for his arrival.  They were so excited that they would wake about every half hour to go downstairs to see if Santa had left his goodies.  Santa was very tired waiting for them to go to sleep!  Finally, around 2am, the announcement was made that Santa had finally arrived!  Downstairs we all went and began opening a few presents!  This is by far the earliest we have ever gotten a wake-up call about Santa!  After opening a few and going through our stockings, it was decided we would save a few gifts for once the sun came up!

A few of the bigger gifts…

Hooray for the Crayola Crayon Maker!  Thank you Aunt Jessie and Uncle Matt for this super gift!  Sam has been talking about it for weeks and it was even his last request as he drifted off under anesthesia during his endoscopy.  The pressure was on!  :)

Please tell me that your family room looks like this too on Christmas morning!  Wrapping paper everywhere, gifts thrown about, nosey dogs checking things out…

This gift above was given by a true little angel that has spoiled both Jack and Sam since Sam’s diagnosis.  Thank you Daugherty family!  You sure know how to make my children smile and I am so grateful!  :)

Ever heard the saying, “A happy wife, a happy life?”  Well, this mommy was so very happy with her new gift of hot chocolate and hot chocolate pot compliments of Grammy and Poppy.  Still looking for the Amaretto…

Even though Christmas Eve and Christmas Day was more of a “Green Christmas,” we have had a few snowy days during our Christmas break that allowed us to get out and play in the white stuff.  Our first snow only dropped about an inch or two, but that was enough for Sam to get out and try his hand at a snowman!

A few days later we received some more snow which gave us the opportunity to go sledding!

and to play in the snow!

This day was VERY cold and so we had to scrap the big hill at the golf course for our little, tiny bunny hill next to our house.  With the windchill, the temperature was in the single digits and much too cold for Sam…and the mom!  But we still had fun that entire 15 minutes we were out there!

We hope you all had a fun and meaningful Christmas this year surrounded by the one’s you love!

Until next time,

Erica:)

Great photos and yes – our house looks just like that minus the dog. Got the crayon maker here as well. Looks like a great Christmas and I’m anxious to see you! Continued prayers for all of you!

What beautiful pictures of the boys in the snow! It sounds like you all had a peaceful Christmas together. Looking forward to 2010 being the Robinson’s year!
